Need help

Have the 2012 xp4 and want to replace the tie rods with the nice billet ones I got from Joey when I bought the storm trooper from him. I just cant figure out how to remove the inner tie rod from the steering rack. Any help would be nice.

Big vice grips they just unscrew.

the bottom ends are what you are trying to get off. Grab onto the ball/bell end with the vice grips and just unscrew them.

Chanel locks or a pipe wrench will work just as good if not better. Let me know how it works out for you. Good luck

They are a pain in the ass when they are stock. Really tight on there.

I took off my a arms so I could get a full swing on them and then replaced them with some UTVINC ones so I could just use a ratchet after that.

You use a pipe wrench to hold the bell. It would be better if you can ask some help from someone so that he could hold still the pipe wrench while cracking out the assembly.

Ill be giving it a shot tonight... I think I'm going to have to remove the lower arms to get the right leverage on it.

I use a pipe wrench and it work like a charm.

Yeah I removed them last night with a pipe wrench. Had to remove the shocks to make room for me to get at them, but came off with out any issues..
