Yamaha Moving steering

paging dr. faggot
I dropped my seats down about 4 inches in my 07' rhino and obviously had to go out to clear the clutch. Now I need to move the steering and I'm wondering how much I can get out of the stock steering? In my head it makes sense that if I cut the stock steering mount and lower it then it would also move it out. Is that correct or will I have to change the shaft? If so, how is everyone doing it? Are you lengthening the stock shaft or replacing? Thanks for the help!

as you move the colum out it will put more angle on the steering u-joints. i had to move the colum back to help this. i also shorten the colum.
