While some of you guys were down at Miller Canyon having a blast the wife and I decided to take a day trip to F.P.

The staging area is all done (they finished painting a few days ago)

Rich's watering trough is still goin' strong.

Had a nice ride down to the river and then back up to the lookout. Then the rain started ... we decided when the thunder started we probably shouldn't be on the top of a mountain next to a bunch of tall metal structures... the rain felt good but we were soaked. Of course hitting "rivers" in the road didn't help. We even saw some deer running for cover (kinda visible in the captured pic from GoPro)

Had a great day all in all but missed you guys
