I just spent some time last week on Little Rubicon out by Mecca ca. Really alot of fun just wasnt really challanging. It seems somewhere in these threads they have made it out to be a MONSTER!! but quite the opposite. Any UTV can do it. So go try it out youll enjoy it for a day ride.

Hey Rick!!! I guess we're pretty much neighbors. I want to ask that you come and join us on Presidents Day at drop 31 for our memorial ride for our friend John. This will insure you are riding what we call the Lil Rubicon, and allow you to meet a great group of folks!!!

I'd be surprised if you did what we do unless you have the GPS coordinates that we ride to. There's lots of trails out there, but I could never find our trail route without GPS.

So come on out and join us, I agree it really isn't a monster, but following Papa Bear, you might find some arse puckering challenges that do press the mini monster button...

X2 on the P-Bear statement, that LaFamilia man is crazy!! It’s Latin for “Family†I did not know that till recently too. Bunch of cool people get together for rides, volunteer @ races, help each other, and party!

Anyhoo, xmas/new years he took us a steep hill @ OW I’ll never forget at top your tires spun WOT only to find a drop off, I mean if you over shot this pined to the plastic which you had to in a 900XP you were heading right off a cliff. I backed down took an easier route everyone followed me to the crest with little flat, not PB lol!

So many costly metal XP doors on the market, more I learn and see I’m leaning towards fixed low cut plastic no latch no hinge diy like some of the racers I seen @ Soboba……

THE LITTLE RUBICON IS CHALLENGE IN A BASICALLY STOCK 2007 RHINO. WE WERE HIGH CENTERED @ LEAST 3 TIMES.

I had a lot of fun in this area. The trail going up the wash (Lil Rubicon?) is pretty and has some nice rock sections. Overall a great day of riding. We had two nicely built Teryx and two stock Teryx4.

It's a cool trail, fun trip with la familia. But I never understood the little rubicon name as it looks more like a little moab.....

No we don't, but it is along the way if I remember correctly (getting old... LOL!!!! I've only rode there half a dozen times... Geez!!!).

THE ONE TIME WE WENT WE DID COME OUT BY THE PLANES. ANOTHER TIME THE GROUP TOOK AN AVIATION SPECIALIST & HE GAVE THEM MORE INFO. LIKE DAN SAID. PAPA BEAR & CISCO HAVE BEEN THERE MANY TIMES SO THEY ARE THE ONES TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS.

Yep I know it is DD, I just don't think we come out at the plane crash... We're no too far from Bradshaw when we exit if we do it forward.

ALL I KNOW IS WE WENT BY THE PLANES & THE BRADSHAW TRAIL & LOTS OF PLACES. WE WERE THERE JUST THE ONCE & I COULD NOT TELL YOU WHERE ANYTHING IS. WE DID MEET YOU & CHRIS THERE.
