Just some FYI for BITD racers

I am putting this in a new thread so as not to take away from the positive nature of the pre race threads that most of the racers enjoy being apart of.

BITD has provisions in the rules to settle nearly all issues.

It is my personal opinion that the BITD as a whole is a very fair and just organization. I beleive that Casey truly tries to give everyone the best possible racing experience. We have competed in every BITD event for the last 6 years and I can say it has been a great experience.

We have also competed in many events sanctioned by various different organizations and NONE of them come close to the proffessional level that BITD demonstrates.

This is just my .02

I just hate to see some of the stone throwing that seems to come up in the middle of the race threads.

The protest must be in writing along with the fee and be delivered to the chief steward or Director no later than 30 minutes after the official end of time limit.

Well there you have it, how can you file a protest when the racers are still allowed to race for finishing points long after the official stated time limit has expired?

In your 6 years of racing have you ever gone over the alloted time? And still been allowed to officially finish?

Dont get me wrong I love racing in Best of the Desert, this is the premiere organization. I just think when you play by the rules it makes it fair for everyone, and not just an opportunity to keep the finish count up!

Jagged X needs to build a WORCS race car and run the series. This is my favorite series by far and very affordable. Don't get me wrong BITD is still the best desert series around and holds the largest desert race in the US.

Keep it up Casey F.

We would love to, but this keeps up pretty busy. Never know though.
