Impromptu Freeway Ridge run

Slacker

La Familia
My buddy Mike and I decided Saturday afternoon to run up Freeway Ridge for a quick and easy day trip. Turned out that is not what the trail had in mind:eek: Put the song 12 Days of Christmas in your head. One broken speed sensor, one broken axle, one cut tire, many rocks a scraping.... Mike's Cruiser is in the infant stages of it's build. We just removed the rear bumper and are in the middle of fabbing the new one. If you happened to notice it was missing we didn't tear it off. Stacki is now learning the ins and out of rock riding and popped a CV that I'm certain was well worn already so she also got to learn how to do a trail axle extraction. Good for every young lady to know right?

Stacki pulling the wounded axle.

It's funny to me that many of us have our special rock. Stacki is not yet of driving age and she has 2!

Mike's Cruiser is a competent flexer in stock form.
