To start things off I would like to take a moment to introduce Ace and myself as the new HiPer sales and support team. We are here to provide you with the best service possible. If you have a question or need anything from us, please give us a call at 785-749-6011 or send us an email to sales@hiper-technology.com. We will promptly respond to your needs.

I would like to start a conversation about HiPer Wheels for those who aren't familiar with them. What do you like about them? What offset would you suggest for certain types of riding? Maybe a fun fact like the HiPer 14" dual bead lock weighs at most 14.7 pounds.

If you have a question about running HiPer wheels on your UTV please don't hesitate to ask.

Ace and I are glad to be apart of the UTV Underground community! We look forward to hearing your success stories and answering your questions.

Be sure to ask your dealer about the new colored HiPer UTV Wheel!

Don't be the last to have them.:D

I have been running the hiper 14 dual locks on both my xp and 800 worcs cars. The wheels have been bullet proof and never let me down. I have ripped off a-arms, broke studs, hammer huge whoops at 70+ mph and never had a wheel fail.
Lightest, best performing, most dependable wheel out there!! (they look bad ass too which never hurts anything..)

Hiper guys, I think Rusty needs a set of wheels to do a full product evaluation. Whatever Rusty says, I buy.

i sure wish i could afford a set of the yellow ones to match my Maverick. Good looking wheels but they are priced out of my pay grade.

KenBenson#999 , that sounds awesome dude. We are always happy to hear people success story's. If you got some nice pictures of your ride you should like our Facebook page and share your pictures on our wall. That way all the other fans out there can see how you roll...

Over the long run an investment in our wheels will save you cash. We have guys out there running the same set for 5+ years. With the proper maintenance these wheels will last a very long time. A good tip on keeping your HiPer wheels tip top is reapplying anti seize to the bead ring bolts when you change a tire.

A few questions: Where are these wheels made.......not assembled but made? If outside the us what % is domestically sourced?

What type of performance warantee is offered and stood behind?

thanks

Lawrence, Kansas!! Local guys. I can vouch for their product - I have their wheels on my dune setup and they've taken big jumps like a champ. Fit and finish is great. I was pleasantly surprised and will be buying 14's for my next set of off-road tires. Worth every penny.

I have a set and they are awesome. Worth every penny. Take huge jumps like a champ. My set is for my paddles/smoothies exclusively. Will be putting 14" Hipers on the next set of dirt tires I get.

My thanks for your response..........this question was posed as a result of a discussion a few of us have been having recently....

can we take an OEM product and build a car to race desert of track that is ONLY US made.....

this conversation occured over a few beers and campfire and the result was somewhat discouraging........that being said, if we can get this build off the ground we need to develop a parts, materials supply sourcing strategy, and wheels most certainly are on the list....

Right on I should have read your question more thoroughly. I have no affiliation with hiper just really like my wheels.

The 100% USA build actually sounds like a challenge and definitely a discussion for another thread. I believe the OEM's import many of the components on our
Machines.

Hi Rob

thanks for the comments, and your support of the wheels matters....we have learned to pay attention to user testimonials vs sales guy pitches when considering products for our cars.....that being said I hope the HiPer guys can confirm my original question, as we have found numerous wheel guys who have claimed made in US.....rather assembled in US with sourced components outside US the large makeup of the wheel, yet priced as if produced here........hummmmmmmmmmmmmm

while we are new to racing we are learning you get what you pay for.....and buyer beware.
Best Regards

Steve

This is a great question and I would like to thank you for your interest in HiPer Racing Wheels.

I would like to confirm that our wheels are manufactured and assembled right here in Lawrence, Kansas. We are proud of that fact!

Our UTV wheels are covered by a one year manufacturing defect warranty. If you find yourself with a break that is not covered under warranty you don't have to buy a whole new wheel. A great thing about our UTV wheels is their modular design. Each wheel has an outside half, center section and inside half. Our wheels are built to last but if something breaks you can replace the broken section.

Steve,
What kind of build are you doing?

Hi Dustin

Thank you for your response, then based on your comments all materials, sub-assemblies etc are domestically produced and sourced......! 100%, fasteners, seals, cores etc....
To date we have not found a wheel with 100% US content, we have been told by some US made but when the copany name is run against an import list or import registration query we have found import records under automotive import tarrif codes mostly with a country of origin CN. For this reason we have become very bearish with where our/my money goes.

Glenn...........we are looking at building a desert car for 2014, but I have remained steadfast in my intent to hold US made content as the primary objective for products added to the OEM base.
