Hey guys from your newest racing location - Australia!!

SXS Machine

Importer, wholesaler,
G'day all (guys and girls - remiss of my header)

My name is Gavin and I run the only dedicated website the SXS's in Australia called www.thesxssite.com

We specialise in aftermarket/ OEM products for SXS's and we are a wholesaler/distributor and promoter.

SXS racing has only actually just been endorsed by the major racing bodies this year so we dont rreally have as legacy opf old Rhino's or Teryx about. We only really started to get the hit of RZR's as they started coming out and in that we predominantly have one brnad here at the moment as no-one in the country I believe has a CanAm X model or is eventing in anything other than a RZR.

We hope to change that all within our own team if we can help that by getting an aftermarket built racer built in the States with a partner firm and start selling ready to race vehicles as well anything else that will turn a dollar.

Its hard to look past the Arctic Cat in the coming year. I believe it has an advantage in body shape, engine, cage needs a serious look and the rest will come out in the wash but its probably the best out of the box racer (minus rollcage) on paper for the year so far.

So we are definately in the market for a full partner and even a conglomerate to put together a package that will show Australians what SXS racing is all about instead of punting around against your mates Polaris we want to run a big budget team. So if your interested in being that all or part of that we are certainly looking for YOU!

Other than that we hope to get some of the best of Australia on film with such machine next year so if you are a film production company with eyes on the prize get in touch with us as well to make the best films Australia can provide.

Also hope to have some of break throughs in the businesses this year with finally putting out some of our own designs instead of others but also picking a great new product in the SXS segment. :O

What a great wrap into the group, other than that I'm a bloody fabulous guy, I carry a couple of your sponsors in RZ Mask and I have Rigid lights but not direct - :(

So speak to me about anything Aussie, let me know whatever the hell is beating an XP in any format and sit around chew the fat and get ready to come racing in Australia next year.

Cheers

Gavin

Welcome to the site Gavin!! Keep us posted on your racing! Thanks for joining and share the site with your Aussie buddies!!

Welcome Gavin! It's nice to know we'll be reading about your summer, all winter here!!! Well, it really isn't much of a winter in SoCal, but just the same. One of my colleagues at work spent many years there working in Canberra at the Deep Space Network.

I hope to get a boondoggle there one day too. If I do I'll have to look you up. I went to Madrid last year and spent 3 weeks. It was awesome.

Have a great time and keep the skid plate down...:D:eek:

WELCOME TO THE UNDERGROUND GAVIN. YOU NEED TO IMPORT A RHINO R1, THEY ARE KILLING IT IN LOORRS. THE XPs, TERYXs & CANNED HAMs ARE DOING WELL IN DIFFERENT RACING VENUES, BUT MOSTLY THE XPS. DO YOU HAVE MOSTLY DESERT RACES OR SHORT COURSE?
SIDEXSIDE RACING IS WELL REPRESENTED HERE ON THE UNDERGROUND.

Very New here DD, We mostly as yet have Khanacross which is basically dirt road racing, we have some 4wd clubs that do winch events that are combining now some non-winch cross country events and they have several one off events through the year that are mostly arid to desert style country that are probably our most famous races. Nothing reallly MX yet as we havent had the existing MX clubs for cars run a series as this is our first year and so possibly next year if there is a club based at a MX track or near then they may try a MX series through the year.

We ran on a quad course earlier in the year but to my mind they did not suit as the wheel base is too long for the whoops and so I'm looking forward to using say some of the supertruck courses etc so we get whoops with decent spacing.

So super modified isnt ready as a class yet and we have no Rhino's to speak of in the country to adapt so they would all have to be imported and if that were the case people may import something that would give them competition options at this time.

Cheers ;)
