Been trying to get back out, finally made it. Trying to get some dune time in. Weather was said to be poor, leaving San Diego it was ugly with rain and wind early Sat morning then as I got through the Mountains, I had a decent sunrise view and the rain was gone.

It is nice to have friends in the dunes. devs'rzr has been duning here for over 20 years, Good group to hang with. We then headed over to olds and
had a snack, one guy in the group ( cheese and crackers he is referred to) brakes out the gray po pon, Salami, crackers and cheese and hooks every one up, it really hits the spot after about 3 hours of duning, Thanks Mike!

We hung out for a bit, for a Holiday weekend it was a great day, I think due to the weather forecast it kept a lot of people from coming out. there were about 1/2 as many people out there this weekend. We watched Mike and Kenny, Kenny is a 70 year old dude who always dunes with us and does a fine job as he rides a Kawi 700 quad, Mike and Kenny shoot the hill, Kenny kicked some butt, then we headed over to Brawley Slide

had some great weather and great duneing. on the way back we ran in to a couple of RZRs , found on on its side, it was perfect timing as it had just happen, no one hurt, we put it back on all fours, checked it all out waited 20 min fired it up and then it started raining. back to camp we went. packed everyting up and called it a day.
As I was coming back home it was clearing up threw Brawley and even threw Ocotillo, then as i came up to Ranchita I got nailed with rain then snow,
