DIRT SERIES WELCOMES NEW AND RETURNING SPONSORS, 2014 TEASER DETAILS!

The race season is upon us and round 1 of the Dirt Series is just over a month away. We will be starting the series off at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park. As many rumors have been swirling of late in regards to the future of the facility and its current closed status, the future is good and we will be running our races there as scheduled.
Also, a hot topic has been some of our rounds and the extra little plans we have in store for the weekend. Well let’s just begin with round 1 and we are looking to have a Trophy Kart Shoot Out race on Saturday Feb 22^nd to start it off. In the works is also a Pro Women MX Shoot out Invitational, the Round 5 weekend at the Avi Resort & Casino and another IMG Motorsports weekend at L.E. Stay tuned for the details.

Rules & Class Updates
As we were very flexible last season on our rules, in order for us, as a series, to successfully grow and become stronger we must implement our rules package moving forward. We will have at each round a tech/safety/contingency tent for all racers to go through and be checked. This area will not only be for teching vehicles but to inquire/submit for any series sponsor contingency. We will also have our trackside crew and safety team available here before races. This tech/safety/contingency tent area will be located at or near registration and will be a core area for all rider and driver meetings.

UTV Class Update:
With consideration to the latest line of “1000†classified UTVs, we have made the decision to bring the 1000 and Unlimited classes together and add a 900 class. The newly combined UTV 1000/Unlimited class will remain a Dash-4-Cash race.

Trophy Kart Class Update:
With the introduction of the Lifan 200 GY5 200cc shifter engine package for the Trophy Kart JR2 class we will now be calling it the Trophy Kart JR2/JR Mod class. This will allow for the intermediate spec kart class racers to chose between a shifter or non shifter Trophy Kart to become more well skilled before stepping up to the advanced modified spec class.
