Desert Dingo Racing stopped by our office here at Rugged to get setup with a full racing communication system! Their team is based out of Santa Cruz, Ca and they plan on campaigning a Class 11 VW Beetle in the Baja 1000 and also in the Southern Nevada Off Road Enthusiasts (SNORE) series. One of the coolest things that Desert Dingo Racing has done is teamed up with the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) in support of its campaign to raise awareness of diabetes issues worldwide. Each year they host a drive-a-thon to raise money for the World Diabetes Day campaign. 100% of the money raised goes to the IDF! This really set home with all of us here at Rugged because the son of one of our team leaders was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, so we will do anything to help raise awareness of diabetes issues!
