STEVE â€œWHEELSâ€ BUCARO #69 PILOT

Steve â€œWheelsâ€ Bucaro Race Report; â€œFirst off we actually had the most Pilot/Stadium Lites of the season yet (5) and we still ran with 700-850 UTV's.

Moto 1: I got the hole shot again and hit a rut in turn one and bicycled (almost rolled but didn't) and got back on in 3rd place. After Chris Watts in 1st got taken out I moved into 2nd, but then ended up with a fuel issue which limited me. Alone and running out of tear offs I drove the full 15 min moto with my visor up. I held on to 2nd to keep my points up.

Moto 2: In between motos Rusty and Jerry helped me pull and clean out the carb hoping this would fix the issue, but unfortunately it didn't. I held on to 2nd place again, which gave me 2nd overall for round 3. I am still leading in points which is of utmost important to me over winning 1st place.

MICHAEL â€œSPEEDYâ€ GONZALES #796

What a crazy day/night of racing. Speedyâ€™s race lined up and the #796 gets the hole shot! After some bumping he is bumped off the track and heading towards the scorers. With some fancy driving he gets back on the track with a bent rear axle. He couldn't steer and was all over the place. He takes a jump and rolls in the front straight away. He takes 8th in Moto 1.

The team buys a new axle from a fellow racer and Moto 2 starts under the lights! Speedy and the #796 again take the hole shot! On the first jump he bottoms out and it knocks the wind out of him but he continues on, not being able to breathe the entire first lap. He continues to finish the next 5 laps and takes 3rd in Moto 2!
