1/24/12 El Cajon, CA – With the 2012 racing season just around the corner there is no rest for the crew at Black Rhino. However, they had the chance to celebrate this past season at the 2011 LUCAS OIL OFF ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP BANQUET at Pala Casino in Pala, CA on January 21, 2012. Driver of the Black Rhino #854 Bryan Osborn took home the honor of “2011 Overall UTV Rookie of the Yearâ€. “I am really excited that I won the rookie of the year. To be able to add this to my 2011 SR1 Championship in the Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series on my racing resume is sick. I definitely couldn’t have done it without my crew chiefs Kenny Frost and Layton Kramer, thanks Frosty and Twink!†Osborn said.
Black Rhino would like to congratulate Corry Weller on her SR1 UTV 2011 LOORRS Championship and R.J. Anderson on his Unlimited UTV 2011 LOORRS Championship. Black Rhino Sponsored drivers finished the season in the SR1 Class as follows; Cody Rahders and his Super Chips #816 SR1 4th, Bryan Osborn in the Black Rhino #854 SR1 5th, Ryan Beat in the Hart & Huntington #851 SR1 7th, Kyle Leduc driving the Black Rhino #899 SR1 9th , and Tyler Winbury in the Wagon Burners Motorsports #894 SR1 12th. LeDuc had three points’ races this season and Winbury one. Winbury also finished 4th in the Unlimited UTV Class driving his Wagon Burners #613.
In the LOORRS UTV Challenge Cup Ryan Beat took home a first place podium finish for his second consecutive year! Cody Rahders finished with a 3rd place podium finish. Bryan Osborn finished 4th and Winbury 8th.
