Retired - And Still UTVUNderground Approved!!!!
a Wildcat? Would like to check one out, in the San Diego/Superstition area if possible.

me too doug i'm really on the fence about getting another car and after xp testing saturday i need to make a move

yup, have even driven it too!

When the tour schedule first came out, they were set to stop at Glamis:
November 26 - 27, 2011 - Glamis, CA

Now I don't see that location on their page:
Arctic Cat - Wildcat 1000i H.O.

I was out with Joey in Barstow and drove the Wildcat for two days. Here is a link to my review: Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 Review

Seen it, driven it, liked it!

So the next question is, does it turn as good as an XP or push because of the bias and added wheel base?

And the Cat Tour Ride Events, do you actually get to drive it or is it a ride in it with one of their drivers?

You can drive it with an Arctic Cat representative riding shotgun. You can actually drive as many times as you want as long as you get back in line.

The Glamis date was cancelled due to the inability to get a permit for that date. Speculation is that they didn't want another event to add to the crowds that are already expected.

Suspension is amazing and the cockpit is roomy and comfortable. Steering effort is amazingly light.

It felt to me like the XP turned sharper, but without having both right there to try, it is hard to know for sure. I did feel more body roll in the Wildcat.

I went and saw it when they were in Barstow the sunday before they left town and was impressed with it. The suspension components and frame looked very stout. The cockpit felt nice bigger than an xp wasn't as nice as the commanders. I don't own any of them that's just what I thought from my shopping around. It looked to me like a good machine.

Suspension and frame are two of the best features of the Wildcat.

I have also drove the piss out of it.

It eats whoops like a race car, but turning it takes a lot of space. I would have liked to test it in a trail ride situation rather than the open desert.

I like the Wildcat a lot, but would like to see what it does in different type of terrain. I think it would be a load of fun in the dunes, but since I like rock crawling as well, I would need to see what it does on a trail before I bought one.

I SEEN THEM IN BARSTOW ..
I THINK A/C IS ON THE RIGHT TRACK BUT I WOULD NOT BUY FIRST YEAR IT SEEMS THEY HAVE A LOT OF BUGS TO WORK OUT, NOW ,WITH THAT BEING SAID, ONCE THEY DO GET THEM WORKED OUT I FEEL IT WILL BE A BAD AZZ MACHINE.
