Racers, Enthusiasts and Sponsors:
In an effort to make our series more attractive to racers and manage our racing better, we have listened to some of you and have decided on the following:
Starting with the PURE “350” August 2-4, 2013 – Presented by SXSPerformance.com, you will no longer be required to sign up in advance in order to make the “Excursion” tour of the course. There will be NO excursions.
However, if you do sign up and enter the event at least ten (10) days before the event, you will receive a $10.00 discount on your event t-shirt (Reg. $20).
(Race day entries still have a $100.00 “Late Fee” attached to them. So don’t wait until the last minute.)
The good news is that we are adding a “special challenge” prior to the event.
QUALIFYING FOR STARTING POSITIONS!
• You must enter the event and either have paid in full or made a deposit towards the entry in order to take part in the “Qualifying.”
• Qualifying is open to ALL SXS Classes, including the Bone Stock Sportsmen Classes.
• Top Pro Qualifier gets an award and we’ll try to promote prizes
• Top Sportsmen Qualifier gets an award and we’ll try to promote prizes
• Qualifying starts Saturday at 10 a.m., morning of the race, on a “special” 2-mile (approx..) course visible to most from the main pits.
• Anyone who does not qualify or breaks during qualifying and has no qualifying time, will start at the back of the field, by class.
• Those who wish to start at the rear of the field do not need to qualify.
• This will allow all racers, whether Pro or Sportsmen to have a shot at the “Overall” spot during the race and thus earn enough points towards the “1.5K-KUP” Special Award at the end of the year.
