I like the idea of the kicker for the 1st utv to beat the 1st class 9 car.

Not sure if other series do this but i think it is cool, and a fun option

Perkins came and raced last July and got around all 12 of the Class 9 cars in the first lap but problems soon followed and they missed out on the Bonus purse.

MORE just added another $1000 for the overall winner of the morning heat for the Slash X Duel in the Desert.
Last year at this event the Class 9 winner took the Overall in the morning heat, top UTV's should have a good shot!

I cant imagine a 9 car ever beating a top 10 UTV team all things equal. . Am I way off ?

Should be easy money then. Come and get it...

But yes, the top UTV's are way faster but seem to lack durability, at least on the MORE courses.

The top 9 cars will have no issues, no downtime.

No graded roads...Guaranteed.

When is Prerunning allowed or is the course made available? Day before or week before.

When you say heat races, How is the structured? Do we go rounds or does that set the starting order for a main event? How is that structured?

When it's a Snore/More race is there 2 events going on, or do you guys run the same event together but they count for the points total for the year for each sanctioning body?

The GPS file for the course will be released Friday night, the week before the race.
However, the course will no be completely marked until the day before the race and we encourage racers to wait until that Friday to pre run.

There is simply a Morning Heat and an Afternoon Heat splitting the field of race cars in two, so there is less congestion on the race course and so 100mph vehicles are not on the course when 50 mph vehicles are.
  • Classes in the morning heat: 9, 5/16, 2000, 3000, 1300, 1350 1900 - 6 laps
  • 11, 3, 1700 - 4 laps
  • Classes in the afternoon heat: 1, 6, 7, 10, 12, 5, 1600, 1400 - 8 laps
The combined SNORE/MORE races are the same event, and yes every driver of record receives championship points for both Series making the possibility of dual championships in the same year while only racing 4-6 races a real possibility!

1 UTV can show up at the Duel in the Desert and Overall the Morning Heat and take home $2000 cash, let me know if you can find that offer anywhere else.
