2011 rzr 900 engine swap

I have a 2011 and I would like to put a 2013 engine it does anyone know if this can be done easily? the reason is the 2011 engine is on back order, and I can get ahold of a 2013 engine! Any insight would be appreciated!

From what i can see, you need to get the trans mount from 2013 to work with the new motor. Dont know if any of the electronics are different, but I've been looking at a similar swap.

I think the new engines are not dry sump like the older ones. Personaly would stick with tbe dry sump.

Stator cover,and gasket is different as well....

No. The tranny is different as well.

throttle linkage is different also. 11 routes under right side and 13 routes over top on left side

You need to modify the tranny cases or buy a new tranny. You also have to purchase new design motor to trans mounts and hardware.

Todd, we have not, but I have had a customer do it. He is up and running with a JaggedX motor he got a smoking deal on in his older unit. I will say that he was contemplating using the JaggedX transmission and luckily did not as there is a difference in output shaft size for the front differential....

Thanks for the info guys. I did not have any insight besides the dry sump/wet sump swap. I did tell Casey that some of you guys was sure to have some experience with this.
