â€œBLACK RHINO/RACERX MOTORSPORTS' DRIVERS HEAD TO ROUND 1 of LORORS THIS WEEKENDâ€

02/21/13 El Cajon, CA â€“ Round 1 of the Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series Southern California will be held this Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA.

After practicing in the off season and fine tuning their skills and rides, all of the drivers are excited to get the season underway. One driver who isnâ€™t so lucky is Jessie Morgan. Morgan suffered a concussion at her last practice session and wonâ€™t be able to race in Round 1. In her place driving the #876 will be her Crew Chief Kenny â€œFrostyâ€ Frost. The crew at the Black Rhino shop has been working feverishly to get the SR1 ready for Frosty. Frosty has been involved in off road racing for decades whether in the driverâ€™s seat, in the pits or in the stands. You definitely will not want to miss this epic opportunity to watch him command the #876 this Saturday!

Black Rhino sponsored drivers racing this weekend include; Kenny â€œFrostyâ€ Frost-SR1, Bryan Osborn-SR1, Gary Thompson in his new SR1, Cody Rahders and Michael Gonzalez in the new XP class and Steve â€œWheelsâ€ Bucaro-Pilot.

Tickets are $10.00, children 5 and under free. Camping is free. The weekend schedule is as follows;

Friday

Gate open 12 â€“ 10
Registration open 12 â€“ 5:30
Tech open 1 pm
Open practice 2 pm- 5:30 pm ($50 to participate)
2012 Championship Awards 6pm â€“ 8pm

Saturday

8:30 AM Media Safety Briefing
9:00 AM MANDATORY Driverâ€™s Meeting
