We love the xp also. Polaris did an awesome job!
We have sold more sr1 kits in the last Month than we ever have, so it appears to be only getting bigger.
An SR1 needs to have a completely stock engine as it came from the factory upon production. No factory race parts are allowed. No "rubbing" or "modifying" allowed. The class started with a great core group, but it seems that it is getting more frustrating each race we go to with all the rule...
Corry will be there for sure! We are proud to have Lucas Oil as a new sponsor this year, as well as BS Sand! I will be racing the AZ Regional races as long as I don't wreck her car.... :)
If you want a class, start at the bottom and work your way up. Show Lucas that "they will come" just like everyone racing has busted their butts doing. Its all about numbers... Otherwise there are plenty of other series that will take your "open classes" or "1000cc classes"....
I remember talking to you about this Brian, but I was opposed to the idea... To me it makes sense to leave it at 800cc's.
The biggest reason is the top racers probably each have several 800cc race engines. The cost to convert them to 1000cc would be pretty hefty. Also all the R&D we have is...
Yeah it is! haha, just found out that the crackling it was making was from the front drive shaft falling out... He only had 2wd! Props to Austin for driving his butt off!
Thanks for posting the pics guys! Great coverage as always!
Congrats to Weller Racing Drivers Austin Kimbrell, Cody Rahders, Tyler Herzog, and Gary Thompson for their Podiums this weekend! It was good to see Robert from Magnaflow and Jim Rosa's team out there in their new SR1's! There is...
Yeah, sounds like you should be in good shape after a breather kit. Just take off the plenum and the carbs.(if it has carbs???) Take the sliders out of the carbs and spray the venturis out with "carb" cleaner. Don't get the cleaner on the diaphragms.... It will expand them and cause you some...
I would pull your intake plenum off at check for oil. It sounds like your breather hose is pumping oil into the intake. We make a breather kit that eliminates the oil going into the intake that should take care of it. Pretty common with the teryx. Check the intake first though.
Thanks,
Jason
