I'd recommend 10 paddle Skats. As far as pushing with buffs up front, that's the nature of the beast. It sucks to have to lift to get weight to the front to get the car to turn, but it's just a different driving style to get it right. If you don't want to change driving style, look into front...
I haul with paddles on but have had reservations too. I just try to get trailer close and on concrete rather than the rough asphalt on the street to minimize any wear.
Intrigued to see what you guys come up with on the programming/electronic side of tuning the system, in conjunction with the physical springs/valving side.
Although not obligated, the shop would be more likely to help out if you had taken it back to them first. By taking it elsewhere, they can justify wiping their hands clean of the situation.
