Cars were a lot slower back then. We could hear the drivers talking to the co-dogs over the engine sound as they went by because pumpers and intercoms were not invented yet. Without gps, the co-dogs had to actually navigate. If someone nerfed you, it was because you were slippin.- pappawheely

Several drivers I interviewed after the SS300 passed multiple cars that they never saw. It might have been in the pits, pulled off to the side or just in the dust. Just sharing the reality of the challenge. If the updates are unreliable, what's the benefit? I've read countless stories on FB and the internet from people who can't tell the difference between the orange truck of Apdaly Lopez and the orange truck of Robby Gordon. The people covering the TT's can't wait around until the UTV's show up, they have to chase. That's why you would need a huge team. You would have to dedicate a team to covering just the UTV's.
