We have ran across the same things with the factory and other lt kits we have uninstalled when customers were upgrading to ours. The main limiting factors for the amount of travel are tire diameter and the amount of ground clearance we want when everything is bottomed out.. and for the droop side (extension of the suspension) it usually has to do with how much angle the cv joints, ball joints, and tie rods can take. Can-Am Commander Long Travel kits in stock?
We have a +6 XTR kit in stock, that just needs a few days for powdercoating. Shocks would be a couple weeks out. There should be no binding of the rear driveline and our kit as long as you have everything mounted in the correct locations. Also, aside from that fact, if there was, the amount of spring pre-load you have won't have anything to do with that anyways. If you guys have a question let me know...- LSRGreg
