Email me at Hobie164@gmail.com. I have a nice race/play rhino ready to go. Everything is perfect, needs nothing. Shoot me an email and I will send pics and specs.
I'm with James, I raced Superstock because I can't afford to dump 5K into my engine or do the R1 swap. I think both Johns car and James car as well as mine are perfect examples of what should be allowed in Super Stock.
Hello,
How much would a coilover kit for a 2008 Tundra with rear shocks run, whichever kit you think is best? How much additionally for the Total Chaos balljoint upper arm?
Thanks so much for the help,
Hobie
I did my own conversion using the small two piston CNC calipers, I just had to make my own bracket to hang them off the stock upright. Bought new style rear hubs and used new rotors. Works way better and doesnt make the grinding noise. I dont get brake fade either

well you can float the system behind the steering wheel so that the paddles never move. That is how my system was. The up and down paddle always stayed at 10 and 2 and the steering wheel spun independently of them
When I used to race shifter karts some of us ran paddle shifters that were run with a cable. Has anyone thought about doing that with the R1 conversion. I will see if I can find out who makes the kit.
This happened to me and after two days of trying everything I noticed one of the plugs on the front diff had broken off and wasnt contacting anymore. Had to bust out plastic weld and med it back together. The rack I was running was tight and under chassis flex it broke the junction.
